Children are regarded as the pillars of any nation. At VIN we believe that they are not only the future but also the present. Therefore the organization primarily focuses its programs to explore the hidden potential in all children of our working catchments. VIN mobilizes staff, local & overseas volunteers to facilitate children related activities and form Children Clubs in community / public schools where children can participate and perform various activities to highlight their innate talents.
The clubs have been found to be a good platform for the children to practice their Life Skills. The international and local Volunteers have been supporting these clubs by organizing various activities such as Children’s clubs strengthening workshops, interaction programs, Life Skills Camps, Career development programs, Magazine publication (including creative articles).
The outcomes have been wonderful! – Children can publish wall magazines, magazines, clean up school environment, conduct various competitions on their own, and perform community dramas and rallies for child rights awareness. So volunteer in Nepal with VIN and your volunteering experience will stay for the rest of your life!
